After feedback about sliders and general design of the app, the light dimmer screen was taken back to development and redesigned. The lightbulb is now centered in the middle and is displayed when the dimmer is at max and the opacity fades when the dimmer is lowered to symbolise the real light.
You swipe to get to and from different rooms and the home icon allows you to get back to the menu.

Idea of the Flat design inter face for the app, Slide switches which resemble the colour scheme chosen for the app
Wifi enabled products are forever edging into the market because of the rapid growth of apps and futurist gadgets. Its also a big plus that people desire these new gadgets, one of them is iKettle.
The examples below include the app design interface and slight pictures of the kettle itself. The app itself from the first picture has the kettle in the background as a out of focus picture. Which its flat design inspired my apples new ISO, this app would slot nicely in with its current market trends.
The overall goal of this task is to design a concept for Energy Consumption and create a solution for ap problem in real life. This will be in the form of an app or a website.
